"Why i am not rich"

I was going through one of my earlier write-ups  titled “why you are not rich”(please do read it to have a better understanding of this post) and realized I am guilty of some,, while some I have actually been practicing.

I care what my car looks like;;;; definitely{though all I am in for is a comfortable functional car}

I feel entitlement,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,{after working for some years, yes I do feel I should have some basic things including some luxury once in a while}

I lack diversification,,,,,,,,,,,,{no I don't,,,naturally I get bored with things easily so no way I don’t lack diversification,, I am into so many things }

but am I really doing the things I should do :{no  I am not ,,,I am not saving, I am not investing,,,i don’t have an insurance package....and so o o o o n n n n

I started too late,,,,,,,,,,,,,,{yes I did,,,i am already in my late twenties and I have not made my 1st millions}

I don’t do what I enjoy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,{ that has changed....)

I don’t like to learn {I love to learn ,,,,}

I buy things I don’t use [yes sometimes,, though most times I try not to fall into this habit}

I don’t understand value {I am not sure???}

My house is too big {I don’t even have a house?????}

I fail to take advantage of opportunities {yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, but that’s about to change}

It's a brand new year!!!

Happy new year to you all!

Thank you for being a part of my year in 2010.

I am excited about the possibilities and dimension my journey through life this year is opened to.

Towards the end of 210, I became quite restless and unfilled, I had lost hope for year 2011(which I had not even started) simply because being the kind of person I am (highly ambitious, never see impossibilities in anything) I had so many goals I had outlined for some years now and I am yet to achieve them, and I started wondering what my life would be now if I had not made certain decisions in the past.

What would I have achieved by now? What would I be known for now? Would I have achieved all I want in life?  I became so discouraged and had determined that for the year 2011 I was not going to write down my goals for the year (which I normally do).I would usually write down what I want to achieve, how I will go about achieving those goals and the date I should have achieved them.

2011 for me was to be a year with no well defined goals.

Then this saying I saw somewhere came back to me, “no one can go back and make a brand new start; anyone can start from now and make a brand new beginning”

This saying propelled me back on track and opened my eyes to the endless possibilities and opportunities available to me.

Are you feeling quite discouraged and does not even know where to start from?

Does everything around you look bleak?

Do you feel you have underachieved?

Do you feel like you failed in some areas and come short of your own expectations (and sometimes others expectations of us).

Remember this saying as we start off a new year;

“No one can go back and make a brand new start; anyone can start from now and make a brand new beginning”

Make wise and right decisions now,

Hi all how are you doing?


Most of the ideas shared here are usually nothing new but modified versions of old ideas but with a personal touch!

We all strive to be rich and famous .............

We all desire the good and wonderful things in life ..........

Most of us wish to be called by the name successful in our ways .....

We strive to be a success in the things we do .....

We hope to be at the top of game....

We desire to have made an impact on humanity...

But few of us actually do walk that road ........

Do you need a new job.......how many places have you dropped your cv...???

Do you want to start your own business???do u even have a name for the business???

You want to be called nice ,,,,,,are u nice to people???

You want to be called selfless,,,,,,are u selfless in your dealings with others???

You want to be seen as a warm person,,,,do u always have a smile on your face???

You want to be known as an honest person ,,,are u honest in your dealings with others ???

You want your family to call u bless,,,,are u a blessing to them????

You want to be seen as hardworking...do u do ur work efficiently and promptly???

You want to be financially independent??? Are you living below your means???

There are so many things we wish to achieve and become ..But we never really walk the part to achieve them.

Those of us who do,,, we become discouraged easily....

Start walking the path to your dreams ;;;;;;;;;;;;

Simple things they seem!!!

We sometimes see attitude in others that we so detest,,

Have you ever looked inward and graciously say I have this same kind of attitude...and sincerely see the need to change?

There is a little girl I know that tends to have drastic mood swing, I asked her the following questions...

I started off by asking her the best liked and most popular person in her class, among her friends and in her school.

Then i asked her to list qualities she liked in her, the qualities she listed amazed me, they were the regular attitude we should have.

Her friend in question always has a nice word for everyone, she is sincere, humble, patient, and easy to be with, she always has a smile on her face and is never quick to anger, she never gossips nor back stabs, she does not speak evil of others and is always willing to share both her knowledge, time and possessions. She has a teachable spirit always willing to learn and also teach others.

Simple things they seem...

Can you as a person confidently say you don’t have the same attitude you detest in others?

Do a personality check and you will shocked at what you discover, you can ask your friends, families and those people close to you to assist you with this.
